  • In association with Kamaishi Hikari Foods Company, this project will help to regenerate the fishery industry in Kamaishi City with a facility that uses advanced freezing technologies for preserving seafood products during transportation. The facility will also assist in developing a nationwide network of sales channels. The project will reach out to 500 people directly and 2,000 indirectly, and will serve as a beacon of hope to other communities in Tohoku as they rebuild their own fishery industries.
