The mission of QFF is to help restore the hopes and dreams of the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake which struck the country on 11 March 2011, and which left hundreds of thousands of families in the region without power, shelter, and in many cases, contact with each other. To achieve this goal, we build partnerships and fund projects that will support the communities in rebuilding their lives.
As we do so, we are committed to developing innovative solutions that meet the unique social, economic, and cultural challenges faced by the communities we work with – with a particular focus on child education, healthcare, and fisheries. In this way we are able to maximize the impact of our projects and reach more of the people that need our help. Together with global and local leaders, we encourage the sharing of information that will be of benefit to the world and strive to preserve human dignity.
